Here’s the deets for the main event:
It’s Pink Dress time! Once a year we run for more than beer; we run for charity! Come out and support Imerman Angels, a one-to-one peer counseling organization for cancer patients. Raise some money on trail and benefit from our awesome sponsors, Goose Island and Love Me Tenders. In other words, lots o’food ‘n’ beer.
Trail should be 6ish miles with a shot stop and beer stop, and a walkers’ trail will be provided. There will be a team competition on trail to see who can raise the most money for Imerman’s. Get creative- sing hash songs for people, offer to let strangers take a picture of you in your dress for some pocket change, do whatever you can to raise money. Last year we raised $1200 on the street alone; let’s do even better.
Raffle prizes from some other sponsors; we’re not going to ruin the surprise, but believe us, they’re pretty sweet. Every rego gets you one raffle ticket, and extra tickets will be for sale for $1 each if you want to increase your odds. Also- swag bags will be provided for everyone. All proceeds go to Imerman Angels.
