FUN FACTS: The Chattahoochee River is often referred to by its nickname “The Hooch” – flowing Southwest from the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Chattahoochee River eventually turns South and serves as the border between Georgia and Alabama and later Georgia and Florida. The Chattahoochee River eventually merges with the Flint River at Seminole Lake to form the Apalachicola River just North of Chattahoochie, FL.
